Pancoll human
Our Pancoll separating solutions contain a polysaccharide with a molecular weight of 400,000 daltons; this hydrophilic polymer allows for production of aqueous solutions for cell separation with a density of up to 1.2 g/ml. PAN-Biotech offers a variety of ready-to-use products with a density of 1.063 g/ml up to 1.091 g/ml for a very wide range of cell separation applications.
Panexin NTA
Panexin NTA is a ready-to-use, fully defined serum substitute for the cultivation of adherent cells under serum-free conditions. It supports the adherent growth of many cell types in an optimum manner.
Composition
Panexin NTA contains purified proteins (< 2 % w/v), lipids, salts, amino acids, trace elements, attachment factors, hormones and traces of animal-derived components (< 2 % w/v). Panexin NTA contains no growth factors, undefined hydrolysates or peptones. Customized formulations (e.g. without hormones and insulin) on request.
Suitability
Panexin NTA is suitable for the cultivation of a variety of adherent cells under serum-free culture conditions.
Panserin 411
Panserin 411 is a fully defined, complete ready-to-use medium for the serum-free cultivation of a multitude of adherent and non adherent cells which are Insulin-dependent (e.g. CHO-cells).
Suitability
Panserin 411 is a multi-purpose medium suitable for a variety of cells. In Panserin 411 adherent as well as non adherent cells can be cultivated. As the medium contains no growth factors there is a possibility to investigate the effects of specific growth factors added to the cell culture. Panserin 411 does not contain any attachment factors. With some cell types a pre-treatment of the cell culture vessels with gelatine, collagen, poly-D-lysine or fibronectin may support or enable a culture under serum-free conditions. Please note that a coating may be especially important with low seeding densities.
Human serum albumin
Human serum albumin is the most abundant protein in blood. Albumin transports hormones, fatty acids and other components. The main biological function is to regulate the colloidal osmotic pressure of blood. Human serum albumin e.g. can be used for protein calibration studies and solubilization of lipids.
Cryopan I
Cryopan I is a serum-free freezing medium for the cryoconservation of cells in a nitrogen storage tank or an ultra-low temperature freezer (< -150 °C). It contains 10 % DMSO.
